A successful job starts with thorough preparation. After doors and hardware are removed. All doors and cabinet boxes are thoroughly cleaned, then all surfaces are sanded to ensure good adhesion. After the dust is removed, two coats of adhesion promoting primer are sprayed. The primer is sanded and dusted to ensure a smooth surface before two coats of cabinet enamel are sprayed to produce a near factory finish.
In addition to paint, JMD offers a variety of decorative finish options: Simple glaze finish to accentuate the details of your cabinets is very popular. Another option is to spray your existing natural wood grain cabinets with a no wipe stain. This technique changes the overall color of you cabinets while maintaining the natural wood grain.
Cabinet doors can be sprayed on location, or they can be brought to our shop and sprayed in our private spray booth.
